About Nandini
Hello! I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and have dedicated my career to helping high school students succeed in this subject. I believe teaching is not just about giving knowledge, but also about learning from my students every day. As the saying goes: “The more you share your knowledge, the more you learn.” Physics can feel challenging, but with the right guidance it becomes fascinating and approachable. My approach is to make concepts clear, connect them to real-life examples, and give students the confidence to solve problems on their own. I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and progress is always celebrated. With my background and experience, you can trust that I will guide you step by step — whether you’re strengthening the basics, preparing for exams, or simply trying to see physics in a new light. My Teaching Approach - Teaching Techniques & Methods Concept-first learning – I focus on making sure students truly understand the “why” behind formulas and laws, not just memorizing them. Step-by-step problem solving – I guide students through structured approaches to physics problems, teaching them how to break down complex questions into manageable steps. Real-life examples & analogies – I connect abstract concepts (like forces or waves) to everyday experiences, making physics more relatable and easier to grasp. Active learning – I encourage students to ask questions, solve practice problems during lessons, and explain concepts back to me, reinforcing their understanding. Structure of a Typical Class Quick recap of the last lesson to strengthen retention. Introduction of a new concept with clear explanations and examples. Guided practice – solving problems together step by step. Independent practice – students attempt questions on their own, with my support if needed. Summary & key takeaways – I highlight the main points to ensure clarity. Homework/extra problems for practice and reinforcement. Special Features as a Teacher I adapt my pace and style to each student’s needs — slowing down for tricky topics, speeding up where they feel confident. I focus not only on exam preparation but also on building problem-solving skills that last. I create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I emphasize confidence building, so students stop seeing physics as intimidating and start seeing it as solvable. Who My Classes Are For High school students (grades 6–12) who want to: Strengthen their basics in physics. Prepare effectively for exams. Build problem-solving and analytical skills. Develop a deeper interest in science and its real-world applications. Classes are generally conducted on weekends.
