Why am I tutoring?
- Now that SPM is over, I suddenly have a lot of free time on my hands to help current/future SPM students who are struggling with their studies
- I understand how frustrating studying can be and so I've made it my NEW PURPOSE to help ease your burden as best as I can
Random interests/hobbies are...
- Playing volleyball
- Singing and playing my guitar
- HARRY POTTER (feel free to bring this up in one of our lessons if you are a Potterhead too! I believe we have much to talk about)
Lastly, my ambition
- I aspire to pursue a field in the sciences and although I haven't yet determined my specific career yet, I know that it has something to do with both biology and chemistry

Why am I a suitable tutor for you?
- I am a recent SPM graduate (class of 2023) who has an academic record of straight A's ever since Form 1
- Being 17 years old is an advantage for me as I can connect and communicate better with students who are only slightly younger than me
- I understand how to write proper SPM formatted answers (which I doubt older tutors still remember how to do)
- I have all the right resources (eg: summarised notes, trial papers, popular questions COMPLETE with answer schemes) to make your life easier
Teaching style
1) For every lesson, I will start by teaching important chemistry concepts that are frequently asked in SPM
2) We will have an active discussion on the concepts learned and practice ACTIVE RECALL in which you try to retrieve the information on your own
3) Lastly, we will try out practice questions together to apply the concepts that we have learned
This 3 step process sounds easy right?! That's because it is. However, to make this work I require 3 things from my students...
* Your focus and attention
*Be participative in the lessons
*To ask me questions // ask for more detailed explanations if you can't understand
Trust me, I'll make our tutoring sessions together both efficient and easy-to-understand. Let's ace chemistry together!

Chemistry has always been a very challenging subject for me. For a while I struggled trying to understand the Redox and Salts Chapter. Fortunately with Ms Renee's guidance, I was finally able to understand the material and I scored pretty well in my recent year end exams
