Hi! I’m Mayra, a certified high school math teacher with experience teaching all levels of high school math, including AP Statistics and UT OnRamps Statistics. I tutor both high school and college-level students, using a clear, supportive, and personalized approach to help you build confidence and truly understand math. Let’s make it make sense—together!

About Me Hi! I’m a certified high school Mathematics and Statistics instructor, currently teaching UT Austin OnRamps Statistics and with experience teaching AP Statistics. I have taught all levels of high school math, and I tutor both high school and college-level students. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more manageable through clear explanations and supportive guidance. My Teaching Approach I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support. My sessions focus on: Breaking down complex topics into simple, digestible steps Using visuals, examples, and plain language Encouraging questions and building math confidence Connecting math to real-world situations I adjust my teaching based on how you learn best—whether you're a visual thinker, step-by-step problem solver, or need math presented differently than in class.
