About Craig
Hey everyone! My name is Craig, and I'm originally from Zimbabwe. I've had the opportunity to live in different parts of the world including California in the United States, South Africa, England, Canada, and now India — where I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Because I've experienced different cultures and accents, I understand how English can sound different depending on where you are — American English, British English, African accents — and I can help you become comfortable with all of it. Whether you want to sound more natural, more confident, or more fluent in conversation, I've got you.
Outside my studies, I'm a very creative and energetic person. I'm a music producer and rapper who loves writing lyrics, so if you enjoy rap or Afro music, we'll definitely connect and have real conversations about music, culture, and creativity. I also enjoy gaming, especially adventure and sports games like The Last of Us Part II, EA Sports FC 26, Forza Horizon 5, and Grand Theft Auto V, which makes practicing English feel natural and fun instead of forced. I'm also a big football fan and follow both the Premier League and La Liga, so whether you support Manchester City F.C., FC Barcelona, Arsenal F.C., or Real Madrid CF, we can debate, laugh, and improve your speaking skills at the same time. I also love playing chess because it sharpens strategy and critical thinking, and I bring that same focused but relaxed energy into my lessons, helping you build confidence, think clearly in English, and speak naturally without overthinking every word.

My classes are built around real communication, not just grammar drills. I use a conversational, practical approach that gets students speaking confidently from the very first session — combining structured lessons on grammar and vocabulary with plenty of live speaking practice, role-plays, and real-world scenarios.
A typical class starts with a quick warm-up conversation to ease into English, followed by focused work on the day's topic (grammar point, vocabulary set, or exam skill), and ends with an open discussion or exercise to put it into practice. I always adapt the pace and materials to how the student learns best.
Since I'm multilingual (English, Shona, Zulu, and Hindi), I'm able to explain tricky concepts in different ways depending on what clicks for each student, which is especially useful for beginners. I teach students of all levels, from school children building foundational skills to adults preparing for work, travel, or exams like IELTS/TOEFL.
