Total Physical Response (TPR) Best for beginners, especially children. Involves using gestures and actions to teach vocabulary. Helps with memory retention. 3. Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) Focuses on completing tasks using English. Examples: problem-solving activities, projects, real-world simulations. Encourages students to use English naturally. 4. Grammar-Translation Method Uses translation between English and the student’s native language. Focuses on grammar rules and vocabulary. Good for academic learning but less effective for speaking skills. 5. The Direct Method No translation; English is taught in English. Emphasizes speaking and listening first.
