About Jasper
I'm currently in 9th grade at the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology. This is the highest-performing school in Queensland with a NOS* of 100/100, meaning that it's tied with 15 other schools as the highest performing school in all of Australia.
On a more personal note, I'm very academically focused and specialise particularly in Mathematics, English, History, Social Studies and Science. Some of my academic accolades include:
- Completion of Year 8 Advanced Mathematics and Science Curriculum while in Year 6
- Currently in Grade 7 AMEB for Violin
- Received best in grade academic award 2 times

When you sign your child up for 45-minute junior school Science lessons from me, I'm able to help them on anything in the Australian junior school curriculum. I can teach content so that students are always ahead of the curve and set up for a great next term or year, or I can assist with content that they're already learning. The choice is entirely up to you and I'd be happy to provide any service that your child needs.
My teaching style is personalised with the intention of meeting students needs, through practical examples that not only prepare junior-school students for school, but I also prepare them to be able to practically use those skills in the real world.
In the case of science specifically, I'm big on explaining the real-world implications of concepts, and how those concepts are used outside of the classroom. My goal is to teach students in-depth, not just to remember & recall, but to actively understand, analyse, evaluate and apply their knowledge to solve problems.
