About Farinaz
I'm a biomedical engineer and I'm currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Manitoba. I have experience in being a teaching assistant, research assistant, and tutor. In my home country (Iran), I tutored university students, elementary and high school students. I also worked as a lecturer at my university (Tehran Polytechnic).

In my teaching session, first I try to know the students and their level, then based on that I'll choose different methods such as using supporting resources, utilizing graphics and technology. At the end of each session, I'll sum up each topic and may ask some questions. Also, in the next session, a review of previous topics will be done. Mostly, I try to help the students to increase their confidence.
