About Sophia
I'm a chemistry student at, UNAL. I started learning English when I was 6 years old. I finished my studies in the language at EAFIT. Later I worked giving classes to children in a library and now I teach in an English academic. I have more than two years of experience teaching English, and more specifically teaching children, having practice in the design of materials and teaching classes. I have also done live performances of English-Spanish and Spanish-English. I like to write in English, and read in English, and I am good at analyzing and interpreting texts in English.

My method of teaching is by means of first of all the game, of proposals of real situations and simulations of how to face these, also the creation of debate environments where the students can communicate and express their ideas in front of a topic by means of a second language For the grammar part, I use the "interchange" books as a guide to the topics, but I do not like being the kind of teacher that is stuck to a book all the time. I like to teach simulating real life situations, which allow the student to communicate and express themselves in situations of both everyday life and academic life
