About Karina

I am a student at IE University studying Communications and Digital Media, I am the News Editor for the online publication at my University, and I am a graduate of the IB Diploma Program. These programs are writing-based and have given me extensive experience at writing, which I can use to help you get the grade you want! I'm super relaxed and encouraging with the students I work with because I believe creating a safe learning environment is key to proper learning and growth.

About the lesson

I can help with any level of English, whether it's tutoring for beginner English classes or help with high-level academic writing. Each lesson plan is personalized to the level of English that the student is at.

For students learning English as a second language:
I ask that the student send me the work they are doing in class in advanced. At the beginning of each lesson I'll ask if there's anything in particular the student needs help with. If so, I can go about explaining and helping the student understand. After that, I can help the student do extra practice either with worksheets that I make prior to the lesson, or with homework.

For English Language and Literature/Academic Writing:
If the student needs help with an essay or a presentation, I can help with planning, outlining, and editing. Throughout the process of writing the essay I'll give the student tips and make sure they're on the right track. I can also help students of the IB Diploma. As an IB Diploma graduate, I know the requirements of the IB and how to get the grade you want.
