I’m an A* student, I achieved a grade 9/ A* for GCSE Biology and achieved high grades for all my subjects. I am passionate about teaching and I am currently pursuing dentistry at university. I’m looking to help students who wish to achieve the highest grades in GCSE biology, chemistry, physics, maths and english. I have mastered the perfect techniques and skills needed to make these aspirational targets a reality. I am flexible and based in Sunderland. For students aged 12 to 17. The sooner/ earlier on into the course, the better. So I am able to optimise the time I have with the student and teach them how to achieve top grades even after they no longer wish to be tutored. I have tutored students before in GCSE Biology, chemistry, physics, english and maths.

Details
I charge £20 per hour for tutoring because each session is tailored specifically to the student and their individual needs. I don’t just teach from a textbook; I prepare lessons around areas they struggle with, provide appropriate questions and resources, explain concepts in different ways when needed, and focus on exam technique and building confidence. The price also reflects the time and knowledge involved outside of the actual lesson, including preparation and reviewing progress. For one-to-one GCSE tutoring, I believe £20 per hour is a fair and reasonable price for a personalised service designed to help students make genuine progress.
