About Solal
I validated my third cycle of percussion studies at the conservatory of the 15th arrondissement of Paris. I was the percussionist of its symphonic then harmonic orchestra and also did three years of jazz vibraphone. As an autodidact, I learned drums then the guitar, and I acquired solid notions of piano. I am currently a student in business school at Emlyon after two years of preparatory class for Henri IV.

Music differs from the score: thus, my approach is to make the student understand what he is playing, and to help him feel how to play it, rather than having him repeat a score mechanically. Any course must start with a quarter of an hour of technique to warm up, then some time for discussion around the piece being worked on. Then, I work with the student on one end of his piece and then we decipher a new passage. I can teach beginners / intermediates.
