My teaching method would be to focus on what the student wants, that is, if, for example, the student only wants to improve the level of speech, we would start with seeing the difficulties they have (be it verbs, nouns, accent ... .), and taking these difficulties into account, we would practice some difficulty with oral or written exercises. Once. I have seen the mistakes that are made, I will tell the student the things that are wrong and how they can be improved, until I see that a good result is achieved.
It could also be a mixed class, in other words, doing exercises in writing for a while (translations, advancing with vocabulary, explanations of verbs ...), and another while practicing speaking (of the way I mentioned above).
Obviously, I would like to know the way in which the student would be more comfortable learning, so that we can all be satisfied. If the student wishes in any other way (not the same as mine) to teach the classes, I also agree.
