About Unathi
I have tutored children between the age of 6 and 15 at Lotus Primary in Pretoria as a volunteer for the Community of Sant'egidio, Youth of peace.
Went on to tutor first and fifth graders all Primary subjects. All my learners have attained flourishing marks, most importantly, they have gained self-confidence and social skills.
I make sure all my learners and students develop holistically.
I am a third Bachelor of Education student and attend 2-week work-integrated learning twice every year. I major in all Intermediate Phase subjects, with English as my Home Language subject.

Introduction lesson includes a short baseline assessment so I can know and understand what you can and cannot do. Next thing to be done is for the learner to take a short quiz so we can identify the type of learning style used by the learner.
From this I will be able to plan our respective lessons, making sure my teaching methods accommodate the learning style.
There will be reflections before and after each lesson.
Collaboration and creativity will be encouraged.
