About Vedant

Hi! I'm a current IB student who achieved straight A*s across all subjects at IGCSE — and that experience is exactly what makes me a different kind of tutor.
Most tutors teach from a textbook. I teach from experience. Having recently gone through the IGCSE myself and currently navigating the IB, I understand the curriculum from the inside — what the mark schemes are really looking for, how assessments are structured, and the specific ways students can lose marks without even realizing it. Teachers don't always have that granular, student-level perspective. I do.
I genuinely believe that a high-achieving fellow student can guide you in ways that a traditional teacher simply can't, and that's exactly why I started tutoring. I wish I'd had someone like that when I was starting out.
What to Expect
My sessions are tailored entirely to you — no generic advice, no one-size-fits-all explanations. I focus on building real understanding, because that's what actually translates into results. Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, and I'm flexible around your schedule and deadlines.
I'm particularly well-placed to help with Internal Assessments, having navigated them myself, as well as concept-building and essay work across Math, Sciences, and English.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a current IB student with a strong academic background — I completed my IGCSEs with straight A*s across all subjects, so I know firsthand what it takes to perform at a high level.
I tutor Maths, Sciences, and English for IGCSE and IB students, and because I'm going through the IB curriculum myself right now, I have a very real, up-to-date understanding of what students are actually dealing with — the workload, the assessments, and especially the Internal Assessments.
How I Teach
My approach is all about building genuine understanding rather than drilling shortcuts. I tailor every session to you — starting from where you're stuck and working through concepts in a way that actually makes sense to you. If one explanation isn't clicking, we try another angle until it does.
Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes, though I'm flexible depending on what you need — whether that's a quick focused session or a longer deep-dive before a deadline.

Since I'm actively navigating the IB myself, I'm especially useful for:

IAs — research questions, methodology, analysis, and write-up
Conceptual understanding across Maths, Sciences, and English
Essay structuring and developing arguments clearly
