About Lyra

I am a student looking to help children and teens with their English skills. Having worked with children before, I feel comfortable working with them, as well as being confident in my English teaching abilities. My tutoring will not only help with confidence when writing but encourage students through finding their strengths and building on their weaknesses together. My teaching method focuses on learning my students and what they need help with, and approaching each lesson positively and judgement-free!

I tackle each class confidently and focus on keeping pupils comfortable and engaged. I specialise in spelling and punctuation, as well as reading and literature skills, getting students ready for exams, and confident in their abilities as young writers.
