About Maria
I am very excited to be able to share my love of language with others!! I currently see French at school and study Italian, German and Japanese independently. I am interested in further continuing my passion of modern languages once at University. My parents are from Colombia and we speak Spanish at home, so I am confident with grammar structures, reading and writing of the Spanish language. Growing up bilingual, and being comfortable with both English and Spanish, means I can communicate effectively with my students.

From an early age, I have always loved working with children, and believe they work better when they are enjoying themselves. For younger students, I tend to be more relaxed, but still engaging, and then for older students I provide more in-depth support for their studies. My teaching method is to prioritise the areas your child wants to focus on, so the tutoring is tailored to them specifically. I will cover the basic foundations for Spanish while also introducing more exciting topics to enhance your child’s vocabulary! My goal is to boost your child's knowledge and confidence in themselves and their language ability. Lesson time - 30-60 minutes For children 7+ For Beginners or those with previous knowledge
