About Alicia
Hi, I'm Alicia! I'm a student paramedic and I love sharing my passion for science and maths with my students! Outside of tutoring and paramedicine, I love to make art and play piano. I've been tutoring for quite a while now (18 months) and I'm able to adapt my lessons to suit all students - even those who are non-verbal! Communication is a vital part of being a paramedic, and I extend those skills into my tutoring sessions too!

I love to include elements of active learning in my lessons - asking the student simple questions throughout the lesson to gauge their confidence with the topic. I also like to ask questions as we go along to test what they're learnt through the lesson! My lessons end with some past paper questions, so that we can apply the newly learnt skills to the types of questions they'll be seeing in their exams. My lessons typically last for an hour. I've been tutoring now for around 18 months and have completed 450+ lessons throughout this time. My lessons can be for KS3, GCSE or A-Level! Age doesn't matter - it's just the desire to learn that matters!
