About Tasnim
I'm 25 years old, I live in Charlotte NC, and I'm a full-time nanny for a sweet little baby boy who just turned 6 months! ◡̈
I'm originally from Syria so my second language is Arabic, which has helped me find many people in my community who have wanted to learn more English and now I'm interested in helping others all over the country as well.
I love to read thrillers, self-help books, and loads of romance novels! I have recently gotten into reading poems and I've been very intrigued to start working on my poem-writing skills.

We would start off with having an active dialog with the student, understanding where they need help the most when it comes to the English language. That could be speaking, writing, or simply just bettering their vocabulary.
Deciding what the student needs help with will help me then proceed with planning lessons and personalizing each session to better help their unique needs.
I try to really connect and almost build a friendship with my students so that they enjoy/look forward to our lessons every time.
My go-to ages to tutor are usually elementary/middle school but I have recently began to expand by tutoring high school students and even older folks as well to help strengthen their English skills.
