I am in my late 20's and have been tutoring and mentoring high school students and college agers for over five years. As an adult educator, my key role is to empower my students, as active learners in a positively enriched and stimulating learning environment. Within this environment, I intend to incorporate discussions and collaborative learning from shared perspectives and experiences. These practical applications will in return exercise learning strategies and enhance confidence and self-esteem in the adult learner. With assurance, the learners can learn from each other and become infectious individuals by motivating other adult learners to effectively prepare for and manage real-life situations within their community to become civic-minded role models. Community learning and development is essential for personal or professional gain, for community learning within the subject matter.
