About Riddhima
I am currently serving as a Fellow with Teach For India, where I teach elementary grade students in a partner school. Alongside my B.El.Ed training, I have completed professional development courses through UNICEF’s Agora platform, including “Education in Emergencies,” which strengthened my understanding of inclusive and resilient education practices. I have also completed an ICT in Education course from SWAYAM, the Government of India’s online learning platform, enhancing my ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching.
In addition, I have one year of private tutoring experience, during which I taught a Class 1 student with a focus on foundational literacy and numeracy skills. I have also worked for three months with the NGO Pehchaan, supporting children’s learning and development. These experiences have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong foundational teaching strategies for young learners.

As a Teach For India Fellow and B.El.Ed trainee, I believe that learning should be concept-driven rather than rote-based. My approach focuses on building strong foundations in Mathematics by ensuring that students understand the “why” behind every concept, not just the procedure.
I use activity-based and interactive teaching methods suitable for elementary and middle school learners. I incorporate visual aids, real-life examples, practice worksheets, and structured revision plans to strengthen conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills.
I maintain a supportive and patient classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I also regularly assess progress through short quizzes, feedback discussions, and targeted practice to address individual learning gaps.
My goal is not just to improve marks, but to build confidence and independent thinking in students.
