About Dean
I am passionate about English, Afrikaans, History and Geography. I love to read about different topics, ranging from story books, articles, fact books and news articles. I love to help with work they are struggling with and I also love to support others emotionally and psychologically. I can give counselling when and if needed. I also completed a certificate in Identifying Childhood Abuse and Neglect.
Furthermore, I am kind, gentle and patient. I am willing to walk you trough the work and support you where I can.

My methodology is to support and help the learner. I do not let them drown in difficulty but, I will not hover and be overbearing. The languages I am the most proficient in is Afrikaans and English. What students can expect from my lessons, is an explanation in the topic they are struggling in. After, I explained, I let the student do the work on their own, without any interference from me. After that, the student and I will review what they did right and what they did wrong. I will not focus on mistakes, but improvement.
