About Stacy
I am a student teacher at the Centre for Creative Education. I am in my final fourth year and have gained a wealth of knowledge throughout this degree. Over the years I have attended countless lectures regarding teaching methodologies, intricate subjects and how to teach each one for each age group coupled with presentations, assignments and exams. Over the past 3 years, I have attended many teaching practicals with my final practicals coming up. I have over 3 months of experience in teaching in an array of classes (from grades 1 to 6). I have experience in state schools (CAPS curriculum) and Waldorf schools.

My teaching degree focuses on the Waldorf approach. I have been trained to create lessons that are suited to the intricate developmental stages of children. This means that each aspect of their developmental growth is stretched and discovered during each lesson. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a fun and investigative approach to the content while still creating an 'awe' and 'wonder' for the world around them. During my fourth-year research report, I focussed on the topic of teaching moral values through each lesson, therefore, I am very passionate in making sure at least on human and moral value can be taken away from my lessons.
