About Vandana
Hi! I am Vandana. I am a second year in the University of Florida, majoring in computer science. Even though I am a STEM major I have always loved english and the hummanities. In high school I was a core member of the Speech and Debate team and have participataed in national tournaments. I was also involved in numerous english related AP classes - including AP English, AP Seminar, and AP research- where I had scored 5s. Similarly, I have also taken many college level english curriculum classes and have recieved As. I have previous tutoring experience working in Kumon as well. :)

A lesson with me would first involve underlining the students goals and what they would like to work to improve on. After figuring that out, I ask if they have specific material they would like to work on. If not, I will bring relevant examples and go over how they work. We will work on practice problems and discuss anything the student is unsure about. Lessons can be for anyone from elementary through high school. As a patient and understanding tutor, I will be there to support my student whenever needed and make sure they are comfortable with the course work.
