About Layla
I have tutored several students in the Brentwood TN area in different age and subject categories. From elementary reading, to Algebra and Geometry, to writing college essays, I have a wide range of experience in different subject matters. I am currently a Junior by credit at the University of TN Knoxville and am looking to offer my services to a wider range of clients. I have earned several honors and distinction awards in academics and have the experience to aid younger to older students in several capacities.

I can teach students in all different age categories and subjects. Lessons would be online and cultivated to the needs of the student! I typically work with K-12 but can tutor some gen-ed undergraduate subjects as well. As a tutor, I try to understand the needs of each student, as every learning style is different. I have worked with several different styles and have experience in changing my original lesson plan to benefit the students understanding. Depending on the school nature of the student, lessons can also directly correlate with what is being taught in school at that time to solidify understanding.
