About Gabriella

I am a current student at the University of Melbourne, however I have just come back from studying at the University of Texas at Austin. Apart from being on the Dean's list for academic excellence at university, I also achieved an ATAR of 94.3. I have much experience with different study formats and expectations, due to the fact that I have studied in many different institutions. I know how difficult it can be to find teachers that connect with you in order to efficiently impart knowledge and inspire learning. I wish to alleviate this issue with my services that are tailored specifically to the needs of each, individual student.

About the lesson

I am all about listening. During my own educational journey, I found and am constantly finding, that my learning is impaired by a lack of listening. It is SO vital for students to be able to explain their understanding of a task, mathematical problem, or issue. From this explanation, it is much easier to locate the missing pieces and teach content in a manner that the student can actually utilize, respond to and engage with. Typical lesson lengths will be 45 minutes long and will be taught either online or in the Yarra Valley region, Victoria. I received exemplary grades in and have experience teaching VCE English literature, general math and drama. I am classically trained in viola and can teach violin and viola from the levels beginner to AMEB grade four.
