About Matthew
I'm Matthew, a second year student at the University of York where I study physics. I spend my spare time doing things like reading or playing guitar and football.
I have gained experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in the past. I enjoy tutoring because it's inspiring to see people progress with their understanding and develop their internal confidence towards a subject.

I want the lessons to be relaxed like a conversation to a friend; this way, many authentic parts of the language can be transferred during teaching. I would also focus on important grammatical laws and pronunciation. Lesson length could be anywhere from 15 mins to 1hr depending on the needs of the student.
I have tutored many times in other subjects like Physics and Maths at A-level and GCSE, where my students have been very successful.
My lessons can cater to people of any age or background.
