About Sylvia
I am a student who has grown up having Korean as my native language. Me being a first generation in America, from a young age I acted as a translator for my family. Now, I want to use that skill to help others who are interested in the Korean language. I was always eager to learn more about the Korean culture and trends as a child. Therefore, I explored a lot of k-pop musics and Korean TV shows. Having that curiosity, I not only learned the Korean writing and grammar rules but absorbed the skills important for real life conversations.

Through zoom, I teach Korean alphabets and numbers, helping students read write. After they accomplish the basic needs to move forward, starting from simple nouns and verbs, I will teach them how to combine these words together to create a sentence. And later on, we will be able to have full conversations in Korean. Also because I am a young student, unlike other tutors, I will be teaching popular Korean slangs that you may approach when visiting Korea in real life.
