About Abbey
I have been teaching French for three years at GCSE level, and all of my students have achieved at least a 7 (A grade). Prior to this, I have helped tutor students at my school in both French and German and this year, I worked as an au pair in Paris where I also taught German and English at GCSE level. At both GCSE and at A Level I have achieved an A* in French and German and I have just finished my first year at the University of Cambridge, receiving a first class in both French and German, and coming first in my year in German.

I like to find out more about the student's aims and what they hope to achieve through my lessons so that I can tailor my classes to each individual's level and needs, taking the time to identify both strengths and weaknesses.
I have experience tutoring KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level students, and I am very familiar with the English school system so if you are preparing for exams, I know exactly what is required to achieve the top grades.
I can help you improve in all areas of French: grammar, vocabulary, written and oral expression, reading and listening.
As a tutor, I am positive, patient and motivated to help you reach your potential! I always ensure that my lessons are fun, engaging and varied.
