About Adam

I am a student at the University of Leeds, studying food science. I achieved 4 As in my A-levels last year in the subjects Maths, Biology, Chemistry and EPQ. As a 19-year-old, I relate to my students as I myself have recently been through everything they are going through so understand fully what they need to help them.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring maths and science for over a year to a variety of students of different ages and ability levels. I provide help for any secondary students, specialising in GCSE level. Whether it’s preparation for upcoming exams or some extra 1 to 1 to complement and consolidate the learning in school, lessons are fun yet focused and I ensure to get the best possible out of every individual student.

Perfect! I was looking for a Maths Tutor for my two sons, one in Year 8 and one in Year 9. Adam has fitted the bill brilliantly for both of them.
He has been able to adapt his teaching style to their individual needs and abilities. Both my sons have said they have learnt a lot from Adam and that his tutor sessions have improved their level of understanding in the maths work they are doing at school.
