About Tess
Hi, I am a student who has just completed her A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Starting medical school in September 2023. As I have recently finished school and undertook the current curriculum myself I believe I have not only a broad understanding of the curriculum but also what it is like to be a student. I have 1.5 years experience as a tutor for a tuition centre, tutoring children ages 4-14 in English and 4-16 in Maths.

Lessons in Maths and science up to GCSE level. I believe the best way to learn and understand concepts is individual to the child, and I will really work with both the student and parents to put in place a plan to best support them. Lessons typically would consist of a starter review of previous learning, modelling examples and explaining concepts and then working through practice questions together before given a chance to tackle some work independently. Depending on the individuals best interests, I may set homework to complete and be marked by myself in the following session.
