About Paolo

I am a university student in my last year of a BA in Economics and Politics in London. I was born and grew up in Vienna, Austria where I achieved the highest possible grade for my high school diploma in Spanish. I have professional working experience in Spanish, as I worked at the Argentinian Embassy in Vienna. Additionally, due to my personal interest in Spanish (I play the Flamenco guitar) and Latin American culture I have expanded my knowledge of the langugage and the corresponding cultures over the years. My lessons can be adapted for any proficiency level, from beginner's to university level. I am well versed in Spanish/Latin American literature, music and cinema and would be able to provide or help students with homework regarding this.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on engaging the students in a conversation in the language we are studying. Of course, I will adapt my vocabulary according to the student's level of proficiency. Mostly, the classes are conducted in a way that engages the students and encourages them to learn about the culture behind the language. Consequently, reviews of books or movies in Spanish can become part of the exercises. These methods can be adapted according to the needs and goals of each student.

Details

In the case of a cancellation with less then 48 hours left until the lesson was supposed to be held, the cancelling fee will amount to 10 pounds. Any cancellation earlier than 48 hours will not be subject to a fee. Similarly, if a lesson i cancelled (even less than 48 hours prior) but a new lesson is booked, no cancellation fee will be due.
