About Karim
Hi, I’m Karim—a U.S. medical student with a strong academic foundation and a passion for teaching. I offer tutoring in both English and Arabic, and I have experience working with students from diverse international backgrounds. Whether you're in high school, college, or medical school, I focus on helping you truly understand the material, not just memorize it. I’m professional, patient, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where you feel confident and capable. With years of experience tutoring science and medical subjects, I’m here to help you reach your goals—wherever you’re starting from.

As a tutor, I focus on building deep understanding rather than rote memorization. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals—whether they’re a high schooler struggling with chemistry or a medical student preparing for Step 1 or Step 2.
A typical session starts with a quick review of the last lesson, followed by breaking down new material into digestible pieces using real-life examples, active recall, and spaced repetition. I use visual aids, practice questions, and clinical correlations (for USMLE students) to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is that I’ve personally taken these courses and exams—often while juggling tough circumstances as a low-income immigrant. I know what it’s like to start from scratch and build mastery with the right support. I bring empathy, structure, and strategy to every session.
My lessons are ideal for:
High school and college students needing help in Math, Physics 1, Chemistry 1 & 2
Pre-med students tackling foundational science courses
Medical students preparing for Step 1 and Step 2 who want high-yield, focused prep with real exam insight
Whether you need to pass or you’re aiming for top scores, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you need to be.
