About Wendy
I have been giving one to one and classroom lessons for eight years. The most students I have taught at one time is 60. My students have been admitted to university, have gone on to work in English speaking job roles. I taught a Dr and Colonel in the Thai Army to improve English conversation. A Lawyer from Bangkok passed his IELTS exams and went on to pass two Masters degrees at the University of Sussex in the UK. I am so proud of my students and I keep in touch with them. These are but a few examples. One of my favourites was working in an International school in Bangkok. I was a teacher for 4-5 year olds, I school organised a Christmas concert and my children learned the first verse of an English Christmas Carol. On the day, they dressed up in the costumes they'd made, along with making individual lanterns and sang the carol word perfect. I was so emotional I cried

Hi prospective students, I am really looking forward to the opportunity of teaching you.
I enjoy teaching beginners to advanced lessons, 1 to 1 and small classes. I have taught large classes, but feel much more is achieved in each lesson with smaller classes. I also like to teach conversation. I ask my student(s) about the topics they are interested in and I prepare those topics for the next lesson. I am happy to have any conversation, listening and correcting grammar, pronunciation and intonation.
My teaching approaches/methodologies consist of: PPP, presentation, practice, production. Grammar Translation: rote learning, memorisation. These methods are important in practicing what has been taught and building vocabulary knowledge and speech. Alongside the afore-mentioned, I like to add CLT, communicative language teaching. The CLT element adds fun, allowing communication within the classroom, whether 1 to 1 or classroom communication. PPP and GT does not really allow communication within students. My teaching technique allows for learning and communicating.
