About Juan
I studied for my Master's Degree in Shanghai and now I'm working in Hong Kong. I use Mandarin Chinese in my daily life, at work with coworkers and clients, and with friends.
I believe the best way to learn a language is to immerse ourselves as much as possible. Mandarin Chinese is a passion to me, so I made sure it remains the core language in my daily life. And it's a real pleasure being able to help anyone who's interested in it.

I believe practicing as much as we can is the best way to learn a language. So a class with me won't make you fluent, that's for sure! But what we can do together is find a way to learn the language that suits you and your goals. I usually focus on speaking, reading and listening. But if you want to practice writing as well I can definitely help you with it.
For the materials, we can literally use anything we have access to: textbooks, articles, novels, songs, tv shows, etc.
For the homework (optional): I usually like to make the student write a few sentences using the words or the expressions we learnt during our last class.
