About Austine
Am a graduate of Education in Language and Art (English) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. I started teaching English language in 2007, and I have taught students in different secondary schools both in Kaduna and Lagos state. Also, I have taught students preparing for WAEC and JAMB in tutorial centers, and the success rate of my students in these exams has been very high. In 2013, I started working for Exam Planet Service (Mark Iv Consult) and my job functions include preparing students for international exams like the IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and the Verbal sections of the GRE, GMAT, and SAT. Similarly, most of my test takers usually pass their exams with ease. I am also very familiar with Nigerian, American, and British curriculum. My teaching method borrows from learner-centered method, teacher-centered method, and the content-focused method. My classes are usually interactive as my students are expected to participate in the class discussion. As a trained teacher, I tried not to exceed the students attention span. I always ensure that familiar illustrations and examples are used in ever lecture, as I tried to employ a variety of approaches.
Also, I obtain all materials, equipment, visual and teaching aids in advance. I am enthusiastic, professional, and effective, as I work from simple to complex. Finally, I utilize both low and high tech in my methods of teaching.
