About Victor
I am a dedicated Drum Tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching college students. I help learners build strong rhythm skills, correct technique, and musical confidence through clear and practical lessons. My teaching style is organized and student-focused. I begin by understanding each student’s skill level and goals. Lessons are planned step by step, starting with fundamentals such as grip, posture, timing, and coordination. I use innovative teaching methods like rhythm counting, tempo control drills, and guided practice routines.
I also include learning through real songs so students can apply techniques in musical situations. Creativity is always encouraged. Students learn how to create their own beats and fills while understanding rhythm structure. I help them think critically about how drums support different music styles. As a mentor, I focus on discipline, accountability, and steady improvement. I give regular feedback and help students build strong practice habits. My lessons help college students grow into confident drummers.

My drum teaching approach focuses on helping students understand rhythm clearly while enjoying the learning process. I believe drumming is about control, creativity, and musical awareness. I guide students patiently and help them grow step by step.
I begin by identifying the student’s level, strengths, and goals. Lessons start with fundamentals such as grip, posture, timing, and coordination. Students are encouraged to think critically about how rhythms work and how drums support different music styles.
Creativity is encouraged through beat building, rhythm changes, and guided improvisation. I include practical exercises and song-based learning so students can apply skills in real situations.
As a mentor, I focus on motivation and confidence building. Accountability is maintained through clear practice goals and regular progress reviews. Students learn discipline and responsibility through consistent guidance.
Along with drum lessons, I also teach related subjects like rhythm theory, tempo control, basic music structure, and effective practice methods. This helps students become confident and complete musicians.
