About Dario
I am a transport design student at the IAAD in Turin. I like to try new things and being passionate about the aforementioned subjects I thought there was no better way than teaching to deepen them.

How do you design a neurologically stimulating chaise longue, how does abstract thought in the form of a phallic-shaped gas igniter articulate in three-dimensional space? And basically, going to the bottom of the question, what is design? I am still looking for an answer, but undoubtedly the distinction between stylistic exercise and design in the purest sense, is not in the techniques of representation, but rather in the theory
The three subjects that I propose to teach definitely help to acquire a mature design philosophy. While taking into account the starting skills of individual students, my approach to subjects will never be pedantic, trying to provide practical feedback on what we are talking about.
For Storia del Design we will analyze the iconic objects of industrial design and furniture. For Perception Theory we will see some noteworthy neurological cases and interesting optical illusions. For Semiotics we will analyze examples in all fields of communication and we will see the main tools for the analysis of semiotic texts.
The lessons are aimed at students or design enthusiasts.
