About Jamie
I am a student at the university of Sheffield, studying a physics degree and am in my third year currently. I have some experience with casual teaching through being a PASS leader in the PASS program at the university of Sheffield, and whilst doing A-levels did a EPQ in which I presented and worked on sharing cool aspects of physics had been researching with other students. I am patinate about teaching and very enthusiastic. And love helping students learn physics and maths. And hoping to make a YouTube channel after university introducing viewers to modern and abstract areas of physics and mathematics.

Teaching style is very casual. A typical lesson would involve first introducing concepts or logic behind the idea am covering in the lesson, then giving specific examples of how these ideas apply, and lastly exploring the concept more generically. I try to build everything from ground up, to make every step clear, both when teaching mathematics and physics. And try to find new and exciting examples of how ideas are applied, and connect these ideas to other concepts you might have come across, and things you might come across on a regular basis where possible. Try to make lessons engaging, exciting, all rounded and easy to follow.
