About Nick
I am looking to revolutionise how the English language is learnt where I grew up. As a kid from Kota Kinabalu, I self-studied my way to a higher proficiency in the English language through reading books.
Alas, it was not until further exposure to English songs, films, and English speakers around the world that I realised something; the national syllabus I went through was missing the point.
The point of language is to facilitate succesful communication, a two-way street. I want to help my students build the notion that as someone who didn't grow up in an English speaking environment, you can do it too.
You can understand and speak to the world.

Have you ever felt that your listening and speaking skills are not up to par, compared to your reading and writing? I offer you a comprehensive service to provide exposure and linguistic training as needed (Phonetics, World Englishes, etc.), which isn't included in the national syllabus. Lesson length is 1.5 hours and the content is catered to your targeted proficiency.
