About Graeme
I took 9 years to finish my PhD. I hid from my supervisor, avoided talking to friends. Lived with the shame and confusion. And I am now a senior lecturer in global health and extraordinary associate professor in pediatrics. I have authored over 150 papers. And (much to my surprise) I am frequently told by students that I am the reason that they finished their degrees. I am a dad to young kids just trying to balance life.
