About Nathan
Hearing the sounds of a new language for the first time is a tactile experience. You start by repeating common phrases until they roll off your tongue with natural rhythm. I use my linguistic background to explain why certain verb conjugations work the way they do. We break down complex travel Spanish topics into manageable chunks.

Teaching Spanish requires more than just knowing grammar rules perfectly. I hold a BA in Linguistics from UCLA and a DELE C2 certification that informs every lesson I conduct.
My 12 years of experience have taught me that students learn best when they understand the mechanics behind the words. I am a translator by trade which forces me to look at language as a puzzle.
Whether we are discussing Latin American versus Castilian variants or simply conjugating verbs, I remain attentive to your specific needs. Vocabulary building and reading comprehension are essential pillars of my method.
I enjoy helping children find their voice in a new tongue. My work involves guiding you through everyday phrases for beginners. Pronunciation is a key area I monitor closely. I keep things grounded in reality.
