About Willow
Humming a simple scale often reveals the tension hiding in a performer's throat. My career began with a focus on music education at McGill, which helps me guide teens and adults toward better resonance.
I frequently share recorded warm-up routines so your practice remains consistent outside of our meetings. These specific vocal exercises build confidence for advanced learners and absolute beginners alike.
My approach blends technical belting technique with gentle rhythm and phrasing adjustments. Performance confidence grows when we address stage fear through structured breath work and pitch control. Most of my students report feeling more comfortable once they master their own natural range.

Singing requires more than just lung capacity because proper resonance starts with mental clarity. You might be surprised to learn that perfect pitch often comes from listening rather than just forcing air. I utilize my 13 years of experience to ensure your vocal range extension feels like a natural evolution of your existing voice. Students from all backgrounds find that sight singing and rhythm drills clarify the songs they want to perform.
I focus on exam preparation by isolating difficult intervals until they feel effortless. We will integrate tone and resonance work into every session to keep your sound polished. I enjoy watching my students find their true voice during our time together.
