About Cynthia

Teaching started when open-mic regulars kept asking how I did what I did during my 9 years of gigging. Singing is a craft built on the grit of the American South. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Industry from Belmont University, which frames how I view vocal health. My focus is on helping hobbyists, working professionals, and kids navigate their own range.

Whether you need help with genre styling for pop or classical music, I break it down into chest and head voice mechanics. I am a gospel-and-blues crossover singer who loves a good harmony as much as a solo set. It feels good to share the songs that shaped my own musical upbringing.

About the lesson

True confidence arrives when you stop fearing the note and start owning the story behind it. Performance confidence remains the single most important element of any successful set. My 13 years of experience in small venues allows me to guide you through vocal range extension with honesty. We will examine harmony singing to add depth to your arrangements.

Genre styling in musical theatre and pop is handled with attention to your specific vocal placement. I focus on the transition between head and chest voice to ensure your sound is seamless. Working through these adjustments should feel like a relief rather than a chore. Expect a process that favors comfort and clarity above everything else.
