About Abigail

"Your first session serves as a free trial where I assess your current level and identify the structural gaps in your playing. We will spend time evaluating your chord transitions and rhythm work to determine the best path forward for your specific skill set. Whether you are a kid just starting out or a returning learner looking to sharpen your solos, I provide a clear roadmap for your progress. I emphasise ear training and improvisation to ensure you feel confident playing with others.

You can expect a steady environment where we tackle barre chords and scales with patience and focus. My teaching style remains flexible to accommodate your individual pace of development."

About the lesson

"My 7 years of experience in musical education have shown me exactly where self-taught players often hit a wall. I hold an MMus in Vocal Performance from the KCL and RAM joint programme, which provided me with a deep understanding of music theory that I now apply to the guitar for my 336 students.

I guide students through the complexities of reading tabs, mastering chord transitions, and executing precise rhythm guitar patterns. My approach is honest and energetic because I want you to understand the mechanics behind the music rather than just memorising shapes.

Through years of teaching, I have refined my ability to explain scales, modes, and power chords in a way that actually sticks. We will work together on your ear training and improvisation skills to ensure your playing sounds musical and polished. I look forward to helping you reach your specific performance objectives."
