About Rafael
With more than 4 years of experience, I specialise in teaching Guitar to college students who want structured and enjoyable lessons. I believe learning guitar should be stress-free and motivating.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and organised. I break down guitar techniques into small steps so students can learn easily and without pressure. I focus on building strong foundations.
I use innovative methods such as learning through popular songs, structured practice plans, and focused technique exercises. Students improve chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and finger strength through guided practice. I also use play-along tracks to improve timing.
Music theory is taught in a simple way and connected directly to guitar playing. I also include ear training and improvisation to help students grow musically.
I believe encouragement and consistency are key to success. My goal is to help college students enjoy guitar learning and become confident, independent players.

I teach Guitar with a focus on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I want students to enjoy music while developing technical skills and a personal style. Lessons include improvisation, creating original pieces, and experimenting with different genres.
Critical thinking is an important part of my methodology. I teach students to analyse songs, understand chord progressions and scales, and make informed musical decisions. This fosters independence and confidence.
Accountability ensures steady improvement. I help students set achievable goals, maintain consistent practice, and track progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement keep motivation high.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, songwriting, ear training, and performance skills. Lessons are customised to the student’s pace, level, and interests, making learning effective and engaging.
My aim is to mentor students into creative, confident musicians who can express themselves through music freely.
