About Toby

I have over 25 years of experience playing the guitar and more than 20 years experience as a guitar teacher. I have taught at schools, music schools, private schools of music and also the private classes at home. I have had more than 300 students since I started and I have a good reputation as a fun teacher and I get great results.
I have played many concerts with many different groups playing around the world and I like to share my experiences and my knowledge.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm a guitarist from Australia and I have been living in Lyon France since 20I2. I've been playing guitar for over 25 years in many different styles (Jazz, Flamenco, Funk, Blues, Rock, Metal).
I like to make the lessons as fun while still teaching the important techniques required to play the guitar. I have found some great ways to practice and improve the skills the students already have.
I understand that everyone is different, learns differently and has different goals, so I arrange the lessons to suit the way the student learns. I generally take the first lesson or 2 to find out what the students goals are and their level and we take it from there.
Skype lessons are also available.
