About Chase
With 8 years' of professional drumming experience and a Master’s in World Percussion, I bring cultural depth and musical diversity to my lessons. I’ve studied rhythms from Africa, Latin America, India, and the Middle East. These experiences help students understand drumming on a global level. My lessons emphasise connection, creativity, and technical skill. Students learn traditional rhythms alongside modern styles. I focus on timing, dynamic control, and musical expression. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace. I encourage curiosity and exploration. You’ll receive practice plans for consistent growth. My environment is welcoming and motivating. I value clear communication and positive energy. Students develop confidence through step-by-step improvement. I enjoy working with all ages and skill levels. Drumming is a universal language, and I aim to share that message. I believe music connects people in powerful ways. I’m excited to help you explore the world of rhythm and become a versatile musician.

My drum lessons are designed to prepare students for live performances, ensemble collaboration, and real-world musical experiences while building technical skill and creativity. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals, whether learning foundational rhythms, refining advanced techniques, or preparing for auditions, studio recordings, or live shows. Lessons cover timing, stick control, hand independence, coordination, groove, dynamics, rhythm reading, and expressive phrasing. I incorporate exercises, song practice, play-alongs, improvisation, and group work to provide a well-rounded performance-focused learning experience. Students receive guidance on practice routines, goal-setting, and progress tracking to ensure steady growth. My teaching environment is supportive, positive, and motivating, encouraging learners to experiment and develop their own style. Lessons emphasise listening skills, musical awareness, and ensemble communication to help students play confidently with others. Students gradually develop technical mastery, coordination, rhythmic independence, and expressive performance skills. Milestones are celebrated to maintain motivation and reinforce achievement. Each session balances structured technical instruction with creative exploration, making learning inspiring and engaging. Drumming becomes a tool for self-expression, collaboration, and stage presence. Students gain problem-solving, adaptability, and focus alongside musical growth. Each lesson leaves students with improved technique, confidence, and preparation for real-world musical challenges. My goal is to help students become versatile, expressive, and confident drummers capable of thriving in any musical setting.
