About Swaleha
I'm originally from the United States, but I come from a large Muslim family in Uganda, so I’ve grown up in a diverse and multicultural environment. This background has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, languages, and ways of learning. One of the things I truly enjoy is learning new languages—it opens up the world and helps connect people across cultures. That’s part of why I love teaching English: it gives others the chance to communicate more confidently and access new opportunities. Teaching, for me, is incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing like seeing the results of your effort show up in someone else’s success. Watching a student grow, improve, and gain confidence makes every lesson worthwhile. I also enjoy the challenge of finding creative ways to explain things and making learning something to look forward to—not just a task. Most of all, I love the one-on-one connection tutoring allows. It’s personal, flexible, and built around *you*—your goals, your pace, your style of learning. I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s learn and grow together!
