I have over 25 years of teaching experience. In secondary schools, college, universities BA from the Johns Hopkins University (English) MA from Stanford University (English Education) MA, PhD from the University of Pennsylvania (Folklore & Folklife) English and Math certification for English and mathematics for secondary schools. I have been tutoring since 1986.

I give lessons to middle school, high school, and college students in all English subjects and most mathematics subjects, including SAT, GED, and ACT prep. I use a brainstorming "learn by doing" teaching method based on constant interaction strictly on a one-on-one basis. Learning should be fun, interactive, and done with enthusiasm.
