About Clive
Hi my name is Clive, I teach all levels and styles of guitar at the Oratory School in Reading and Privately, and have done so for over 30 years. My aim in lessons is to bring enjoyment and inspire motivation, which has brought a lot of excellent feedback from those that I have taught. I enjoyed learning music when I was at school, and I want to bring that joy and enthusiasm to all students, as I have done for the previous generations!

I approach my lessons with the student in mind. I tailor and adapt my lessons to the individual students abilities and aspirations. I teach all of the required techniques, with my own expertise and experience, to ensure the student reaches their potential. The aim would be to make sure the student learns something new each lesson, and has fun doing so! I have taught various ages of students, including a few less able students, at public and state schools. I am post grade 8 guitar, and have taught students who have attained grade 5 distinction. I have been teaching all levels and styles of guitar for over 30 years, so I am well qualified to teach any kind of student. A typical lesson would be an hour once a week, but this is flexible.
